Aisling Bea

Aisling is a well-known Irish comedian who has been around for quite a while. Born in Kildare, Ireland on 16th March 1984. The comedian has appeared seen on QI, alongside Stephen Fry. Aisling Claiodhnadh, also known as Aisling "Bea" is a popular Irish actor as well as a writer. Born on March 16, 1984. After playing bits in a variety of Irish and British TV shows from 2009, Bea started her stand-up comedian in 2011. From 2012 on she was in sitcoms and sketch comedy. When she was awarded an award at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2011 She became a regular on various panels, and is currently a regular. In 2016 and 2017 she was a team leader on 8 Out of 10 Cats. She is also an actress on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Parents include Brian as well as Helen O'Sullivan. She has a younger sister, Sinead. She is only the second ever woman to win So You Think You're Funny. Bea is her maiden name in honour of her deceased father. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan was born in Kildare town County Kildare on 16 March 1984. Bea's father Brian was a veterinarian for horses that committed suicide aged three. However, she was not aware of the cause for her father's death until 13 years later. She chose the stage name Bea in honor of her father who passed away. She also wrote an article for The Guardian on her family's death experience. Bea (and her sister Sinead) were brought up within the home of Helen Moloney, a educator and jockey trainer who was also a professional jockey. They were both passionate about horses, races and the racing industry. Bea was a child an instructor for the Irish National Stud. From the age of a child, Bea knew that she was not interested in racing as a career. Instead, she was drawn to the performance arts.
